21. Noon Gun
The Noon Gun is fired every day at 12pm as a historic tradition at Lion Battery (below Signal Hill). It was established in 1806 when accurate time was scarce. Today it is a popular tourist attraction (11:30 - 12:15).
Follow the signs through Bo-Kaap from the corner of Buitengracht and Bloem Street. Gun is not fired on Sundays and Public Holidays.
