1. About Us

Cape Town is an amazing place with great people, spectacular natural beauty and plenty of fun activities.  It is very difficult to use words to describe how amazing, spectacular and fun it is (even if accompanied with some pictures). To do Cape Town justice we felt the best way to “describe” it was to use thousands of pictures (photos). If a picture paints a thousand words, imagine what thousands of pictures can do.

The aim of this website is to help visitors (tourists) and locals find and decide what activities to undertake in and surrounding Cape Town.

The Main List (on Home page) has activities that are within 40 km (25 miles) of Cape Town International Airport. The Surround page covers activates from 41 to 500 km (26 to 310 miles) from the airport. All distances are “as the crow flies”.

This website gives very little textual information, but we provide links to where you can find more information (including the activity’s official website). We felt this was a better way of providing information as the official website has the most up to date information.

This website has over 2000 photos with an average size of 23KB. If you go through every page on the website it will use up about 50MB of your bandwidth. This is about the same amount of bandwidth as watching one music video on YouTube. If you visit the website again in the future it would use almost no bandwidth as web browsers cache images to your device’s hard drive.

There are many websites on the internet that give a wealth of information on Cape Town. It is well worth visiting these websites as these complement ours. The two websites that we recommend are Cape Town Tourism and Cape Town Magazine.
